Spouse - Jim Davis;
Children - Hunt, married to Jennifer, has two children, Lauren and Jake. They live in the San Francisco area.
Twins Renée and Melissa (Lissa)
Renée, married to Troy Benton, lives in Chicago. She is Program Director for Make-A-Wish Illinois.
Lissa lives in Chicago and teaches 2nd grade.
I received my BA degree from Syracuse U. and my MA from Northwestern U., both in Speech Pathology. I taught at Northwestern for 8 years. I have been able to use those old skills as I travel the world with Operation Smile to work with children with Cleft Lip and Palate.
In the 1980's I became a trainer for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and consulted with businesses, churches and schools.
I had great fun in my youth as a Folk singer in Chicago and later enjoyed serving on boards of non-profit organizations. My current job as Chair of the AZ Foundation for Contemporary Theology gives me opportunities to meet wonderful people all over the country.
Jim and I were married in 1968 (Jack Rase caught the garter at our wedding and returned it to me at one of our class reunions). We lived in Chicago until 1983 when we moved to Portland, Oregon. We were there only 3 years and then moved on to St. Louis where we lived until we retired to Arizona in 2001. We spend a few weeks every summer in Chicago so I can indulge my love of the city.
My favorite activity is keeping up with friends and family. Karin Hegstrom Weber lived in Chicago when we were there, then close to us in Arizona and I visit her in Colorado. One of the pleasures of living in Oregon was that Cheryl Council Randall lived very close to us. JoAnn Marchant Ward usually provides bed and breakfast for us when we are in the area. So I have been fortunate to stay in touch with them.
When I was in high school I couldn't possibly have imagined all the wonderful places I would live and people I would meet. I am grateful that all of you - friends and teachers - were an important part in moving me in a direction that opened up those opportunities.
