I have been married twice and have a married son, age 38 with 2 grandchildren living in Spencerport, NY (near Rochester) and a married daughter, age 36 with 3 children (a set of twins) living in Niceville, Fl.
I have been married to Bill Shumaker (yes, Carol's brother!) for 27 years and we have a daughter, Kristin, 21, who is going to be in her 5th year at Syracuse University in the 5-year Architect program. We also have a son, Jason, 19, who is going to Alfred State College, Alfred, NY. He just got his Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering and is now going back into Construction Management Technology and will receive his Bachelors Degree in two more years.
I have had a busy life raising 4 children but enjoyed it. I have worked since I was 18. I started at Dept. Social Services here in Warsaw at 18 and retired December, 1997 from there. I now work 2 part-time jobs - secretary at Licensed Practical Nursing School and cooking at a local restaurant. We live on the farm on Rt. 238 where Bill grew up. We sold our dairy in 1990 and Bill now works for the Department of Labor in Albion.
